Terms

Terms of service

AviaTests is a digital study service. These draft terms explain the basic rules for access, subscriptions, content use, and how to reach us when something needs attention.

Access and accounts

  • Your account is for your own study use. Keep your login details secure and keep your profile information reasonably accurate.
  • You are responsible for activity that happens through your account until you report unauthorized access.
  • Some parts of AviaTests may be free, while paid access unlocks longer or broader study access depending on the plan you choose.

Acceptable use

  • Do not share accounts, resell access, scrape the service, bypass technical limits, or use AviaTests to build a competing question bank or study product.
  • Do not upload or send anything unlawful, abusive, harmful, or intended to disrupt the product or other users.
  • If activity puts the service, content, or other users at risk, AviaTests may limit or suspend access while the issue is reviewed.

Subscriptions and billing basics

  • Paid access is governed by the plan details shown at checkout or inside your account at the time of purchase, including price, duration, and any renewal terms displayed there.
  • If billing fails or a plan expires, paid features can stop until the account is brought back into good standing.
  • Refund requests follow the separate refund section on this page.

Content and intellectual property

  • AviaTests, including its question flows, explanations, interface design, and original study materials, remains protected content owned by AviaTests or its licensors.
  • You may use the service for personal study, but you may not copy, distribute, publish, train other products on, or commercially reuse protected content without permission.
  • Feedback you send may be used to improve the product, but your personal information still follows the privacy section below.

Availability, product changes, and contact

  • AviaTests will continue to evolve. Features, pricing surfaces, and study flows may change as the product improves.
  • We aim for a reliable service, but online products can still have interruptions, maintenance windows, or third-party outages.
  • For account, support, or legal questions, email hello@aviatests.com.
Privacy

Privacy policy

AviaTests should collect only what it needs to run the service, support learners, secure accounts, and understand whether the product is working well enough to improve.

What AviaTests may collect

  • Account and contact details you provide, such as name, email address, and authentication information.
  • Billing and purchase records needed to confirm access, process payments, and handle refund or support requests.
  • Study activity, such as chosen subjects, sessions, answers, progress signals, and support conversations you start.
  • Technical and usage data like browser, device, IP-derived security signals, and product interaction events.

Why that data is used

  • To create and protect accounts, deliver study access, and keep core features working.
  • To personalize your experience, show progress, answer support requests, and investigate product issues or abuse.
  • To process billing, calculate refunds, and understand how AviaTests performs so the product can improve over time.

Sharing and processors

  • AviaTests may share data with service providers that help run the product, such as hosting, payments, email delivery, support tooling, or analytics providers.
  • Those providers should only receive what is needed for their role and should process that data on AviaTests behalf.
  • AviaTests does not sell personal data. Information may still be shared when required by law, to protect the service, or as part of a legitimate business transfer.

Retention, security, and requests

  • AviaTests keeps data for as long as it is reasonably needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain accurate records.
  • Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no online system can promise perfect security.
  • To request access, correction, deletion, export, or other privacy help, email hello@aviatests.com from the account you want reviewed so identity can be verified before action is taken.
Refunds

Refund policy

AviaTests refund policy is intentionally simple: you can ask anytime, and the refund is based on the unused value that remains after the closest actual amount of access already used is taken into account.

Core promise

  • You can request a refund at any time. No hostile flow, no argument, no need to prove dissatisfaction in a specific format.
  • AviaTests reviews the purchase and access history to work out the unused value that remains.

How prorating works

  • Refunds are prorated to the unused portion of the access you bought, based on the closest actual amount of time or tier already consumed.
  • If your usage already lines up more closely with a shorter or lower-value amount of access, that used value is deducted first and the rest is refunded.
  • If most or all of the purchased value has already been used, the remaining refund can be small or zero, but the calculation should still be explained clearly when you ask.

How to ask

  • Email hello@aviatests.com with the account email and enough purchase detail to find the transaction quickly.
  • If something about the refund calculation looks wrong, reply in the same thread and AviaTests can review it again.
Cookies

Cookie policy

AviaTests uses cookies and similar storage only for understandable product reasons: keeping the service working, remembering useful settings, and measuring whether the experience is healthy enough to improve.

Necessary cookies and storage

  • Some cookies or local storage are needed to keep sign-in, session continuity, security checks, and other core product flows working.
  • Without these essentials, parts of AviaTests may not function correctly.

Preference and product state

  • AviaTests may remember product choices such as dismissed prompts, UI preferences, or in-progress state that makes the app feel consistent between visits.
  • These settings help the product behave the way you left it instead of starting from scratch every time.

Analytics and improvement

  • AviaTests may use limited analytics or measurement tools to understand traffic, performance, errors, and how people move through important study or marketing flows.
  • That data is used to improve the service, not to create a public advertising profile of individual learners.

Managing cookies

  • You can manage many cookies through your browser settings and device controls.
  • If you need help understanding what AviaTests is storing or want a product-specific answer, email hello@aviatests.com.
